This is the text of an e-mail which was received by a participant
before he went on the trip to Germany:
"Sid: Take plenty of film with you, when you go to the Moesburg
castle (remark of the webmaster: Molsdorf Palace) you will be seeing some
beautiful art both on walls and ceiling. You will also be given covers for
your shoes so that the floor isn't marred. It has a shine out of this
world.
General Mc Bride had his CP (command post) here.
When they show you the back side of the castle, this is where I came onto
the scene with my machine guns mounted on my jeep. Sure brought back
memories, too much so, had a couple of my men KIA (remark of the
webmaster: killed in action) there.
Sorry I can't be with you as it sounds like you are going to be shown a
