 It was a great Event. On April
13th, 1999 a group of American WW II veterans who had taken part in WW 2
fighting in and around Erfurt and were guests of the nearby European
Cultural Capital, Weimar, had the opportunity to visit Erfurt and the
Petersberg Fortress.
This snapshot of American and German participants was taken beside a
cannon in front of the Fortress' New Guard House.
