centuries St. Peter's Heights was a monastery as well as a fortress. At this site more than ten Imperial Assemblies of great
European importance took place. St. Peter's Heights is a
completely unique example of European fortification architecture
as practiced between the 16th
and the 20th
centuries. It is located in the middle of a major city.
